Ross Hull – Gary
Ross played a bookish-looking boy and the founder of the Midnight Society. Fascinated with magic, his stories revolve around cursed and enchanted objects with supernatural properties.
Hill started his career in 1987 with the movie Nowhere to Hide. He semi-retired following the end of the show. His last credits include Mutant X in 2001 and Stargate: Atlantis in 2004.
In 2005, he started his career as a weather personality on The Weather Network. He completed a Meteorology Program from Mississippi State University and got a BA in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University in Toronto.
In April 2007, he worked as a temporary reporter for the Vancouver area. In December 2008, he left the Canadian Weather Network to work as a reporter for Citytv. He now works as a multi-market meteorologist for Global News. He follows forecasts for Halifax, Montreal Toronto, and New Brunswick.
He is openly gay. Ross once stated, “It is part of being comfortable with you are and that helps you in all aspects of life”.
JoAnna Garcia – Sam
She played a shy girl with a crush on Gary. Their love interest grows to one of the highlighted arcs of their character’s development path. Her stories tend to have a strong theme of love and endurance beyond death.
Following the end of the original show, Garcia joined the cast of Freaks and Geeks in 1999. From 2001 to 2007 she got a main role in the sitcom Reba.
Garcia earned praise for her acting roles in Privileged, Better with You, Animal Practice, Once Upon a Time, and The Astronaut Wives Club.
Garcia also appeared in the teenage drama Gossip Girl. Her recurring role portrayed Bree Buckley. She now volunteers as a teacher for children learning English as a second language. Garcia got involved with the organization Make the Commitment. The purpose is to raise awareness about cervical cancer.
Garcia also has her own organization, We Reach. The charity helps young girls around the country organize charity events.
Daniel DeSanto – Tucker
Daniel plays Gary’s younger brother and the youngest member of the crew. His stories involve family relationships strong in the face of adversity. After Gary left the show, he took over as the president of The Midnight Society.
Daniel is the only cast member to appear in both generations of The Midnight Society. Following the end of the show, he got the role of Jason in Mean Girls.
Some of his other notable roles include Gooby, The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon, The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, Havana 57, Dr. Cabbie, and Little Italy.
Jodie Resther – Kiki
Jodie played the spunky, tomboyish girl often making fun of others. Her stories involved plots with the danger of carelessness and the dangers of the past repeating themselves.
Jodie is a Canadian actress and singer. After the show, she appeared in dramas like Extra! Extra!, Vampire High, Undressed, Fries with That, and more.
She also played a part in cartoons, voicing Francine Alice Frensky in the animated program Arthur. She then voiced Tecna in Winx Club and then voiced characters in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Besides screen and voice acting, she also started a career in music. Resther released an R&B album, Real, and a French-language album Ma Dualite.
Raine Pare Coull – Betty Ann
Playing a vibrant girl with a passion for the bizarre and twisted, Paine forged a career in strange movies and shows. Her character told stories including aliens and supernatural forces.
Following the end of the first five seasons, she disappeared from the public’s eye. Her only credit after that includes Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
Jason Alisharan – Frank
Jason played Frank for 52 episodes up to 1995. Following the end of the show, he changed careers. He now works as a producer.
His producing credits include A Single Man, an award-winning movie by Tom Ford.
Rachel Blanchard – Kristen
Rachel played a girl with a fondness for ghost stories and fairy tales. She had a crush on David, and their relationship served as a developing arc for the first few seasons.
Rachel played Cher on the television series Clueless and Nancy on Peep Show. She got her career start on a McDonald’s commercial.

Elisha Cuthbert – Megan
The Canadian actress and model appeared in a couple of movies and shows following the end of the show. Looking like the ultimate girl next door, she even got her breakthrough role in the movie The Girl Next Door in 2004.
In that movie, she played an ex-porn star, opposite Emile Hirsch. For that role, she spoke with adult actresses from Wicked Pictures and Vivid Entertainment.
From 2011 to 2013, Cuthbert starred as Alex Kerkovich for three seasons in the ABC comedy Happy Endings.
