Mr. Robot is an American drama thriller series created by Sam Esmail for the USA Network. It is the acting breakthrough of Rami Malek. He stars as Elliot Alderson, the main character of the series, and absolutely shines in the role. The show made him a star. In the series, Malek plays a cyber-security engineer and hacker with social anxiety disorder and clinical depression.
