The cast grew out into future stars of Hollywood. The show focused on the Salinger siblings after the loss of their parents. So, what happened to the cast of Party of Five?

The premise of the show might not sound funny, but the teen drama of the 90s had everything. It ran for six seasons from 1994 to 2000. Aimed at both teens and adults, fans remember how easily they could connect to the stories of characters in the show. Featuring many teenage growing up storylines, the series launched the careers of all cast members. What happened to the cast of Party of Five?

Matthew Fox – Charlie Salinger

Matthew played the oldest Salinger child. In the pilot, he had 24 years and aged up to 30 years of age. His character portrayed an immature womanizer before his parents died. Then, he had to take over the role of legal guardian. Matthew managed to perfectly portray the development and evolution of the character.

Such character evolution helped him land other significant roles. Following the end of the show, he portrayed Jack Shephard on Lost. That role earned him a Golden Globe nomination and Screen Actors Guild award.

He also appeared in the movie World War Z, playing alongside Brad Pitt.

Scott Wolf – Bailey Salinger

Many consider this Scott’s breakout role. Portraying a rebellious teenager growing up into a responsible caretaker, his character handled life’s ups and downs perfectly.

After the show, Scott appeared in Everwood as Jake Hartman and as Chad Decker in V. His best movie role came in the cult classic Go.

In 2019, he got the lead role of Carson Drew in the CW Drama Nancy Drew. He took over the role from Freddie Prinze Jr.

Wolf got engaged to Alyssa Milano in 1993, but the two got separated after one year. Then, he married Joel Goldman and the two have three children together.

Neve Campbell – Julia Salinger

Neve played the sensitive and intelligent Salinger child aging from 15 to 21 on the show. The Canadian actress had several successes before Party of Five. She appeared in commercials and the Canadian television series Catwalk.

Following the end of the show, she continued her television and film career. Her first role afterward came in the horror movie Scream, portraying Sidney Prescott. Other movie roles include Wild Things, Panic, and The Company. As for her television credits, they include Mad Men, Medium, and Grey’s Anatomy.

Her latest job is in House of Cards on Netflix. Campbell is one of the most beautiful cast members of Party of Five. Many magazines have included her in the list of the world’s most beautiful women. Other roles include Penny Robinson in Lost in Space and some Hallmark channel movies. Lacey had the most success as a voice actor, voicing characters in Family Guy, Rug Rats Go Wild, and The Wild Thornberry Movie.

Jacob Smith – Owen Salinger

Born in 1990, Smith began his acting career at the age of six. During his time on the show, he also starred in Disney Channel productions like Phantom of the Megaplex. Other television series appearance includes Walker, Texas Ranger, and Step by Step.

Following the end of the Party of Five, he appeared in Cheaper by the Dozen. That helped him garner pre-teen audiences. He then reprised his role in the sequel.

Paula Devicq – Kirsten Bennett Thomas Salinger

Her biggest role to date is her appearance in Party of Five. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Devicq starred in the short-lived series 100 Centre Street.

Following the end of Party of Five, she had a recurring role on Rescue Me. Movie roles include Forbidden Love and Arbitrage.

Fans can say Jennifer is the biggest star to come out of Party of Five. She played Bailey’s Salinger high school girlfriend Sarah. She played the role perfectly to the point she got her own spinoff, Time of Your Life. Sadly, the show got canceled after just one season.

By this point, she got a leading role in the teen horror movie I Know What You Did Last Summer and the sequel.

Some fans remember her from her time in Party of Five. And others remember for her second big television role in Ghost Whisperer. She played the lead role of Melinda Gordon in the supernatural drama from 2005 to 2010.

Her notable movie roles include Heartbreakers, The Tuxedo, and two Garfield live-action movies in 2004 and 2006.

Besides acting, Hewitt built a career in music as well. So far, she had released four studio albums. Her debut album came out in 1992 when she was only 12 years old. In 1999, she had her most successful single How Do I Deal, peaking at Number 59.

Fun fact: Despite her two successful television shows, Jenifer has a Golden Globe nomination for a movie. She earned a nomination in 2011 for her appearance in The Client List.
